So Sad: PDP Youth Leader in Kaduna State Murdered In Cold Blood By Hired Assassins

 

Kaduna state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was yesterday, Wednesday, November 18, 2015, thrown into a state of mourning following the assassination of one of its youth leaders, Saidu Abdullahi. Leadership reports that Abdullahi, who until his death was the youth leader in Tunruku ward of Igabi local government area of the state, was strangulated to death by some suspected hired assassins.


According to eyewitness, the young man was on his way to Kaduna metropolis to attend a PDP stakeholders’ meeting at the Arewa Hall when he was ambushed and suffocated to death with a cable tied to his neck, and dragged along a bush path for some distance.

Confirming the incident via a phone call was Ibrahim Mansur, the party’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Kaduna. He said: “We the PDP members are sad and sorrowful about the killing of our youth leader, Saidu Abdullahi from Igabi local government area.

“In fact, he was coming to attend our stakeholders meeting this morning in Kaduna when some unidentified killers waylaid him and chained his neck with cable and strangulated to death.
